The Teddy Factory Limited is a highly successful Australasian Franchisor based in New Zealand. As the name implies, our clients' customers make their own stuffed bears and animals. The Teddy Factory also holds childrens' parties. Stone Lawyers advised The Teddy Factory on its dispute with a non-performing former franchisee in Queensland, and the later successful termination of that franchise agreement. We were able to persuade the ACCC that a subsequent complaint made to it was entirely without merit, and the ACCC took no further action against our client. www.theteddyfactory.co.nz

Our highly successful clients de-branded their businesses to Plywood Sales after operating both as Master Franchisee and Franchisee of an East-Coast based timber retail and distribution franchise system for a number of years. However, over time the Franchisor frustrated the operation of the Master Franchise and Franchise Agreements, and those arrangements were ultimately terminated due to the former Franchisor's conduct. Stone Lawyers advised the owners of Plywood Sales on all aspects of their contractual, Trade Practices Act 1974 and Franchise Code of Conduct rights and obligations. Contact Plywood Sales at 7 Telford Place, Labrador, Gold Coast QLD 4215. For further information about our services contact: Richard Stone
